New Look, Same Mission

Thank You for Being There

When we set out to reimagine this year's evening, we built it around a simple idea: New Look, Same Mission. A new venue, a new format and a new look for WSA — all in service of the same mission that has brought this community together for 31 years: making youth sports possible for kids who might otherwise never get the chance.

That mission filled the room. Sponsors, longtime supporters, partners and friends were all there for the same reason, and it was a powerful reminder of what this community can do when it comes together.

We presented the first-ever WSA Playmaker Award to Michael Karlin, recognizing more than 25 years of opening doors, making introductions and bringing others into this work. Having his brother, Chip Eggers, present the award made the moment even more meaningful.
